July 2008 - Literacy Month / Rotary Year Officially Begins

1       Semi-Annual Report Due to Rotary International from Club Secretary; pay RI Dues; pay District 6110 dues to District Treasurer

1 - 11    Hold your first "Official Board Meeting", review membership lists, review Foundation goals, reconfirm Goals and Objectives and club plan, review requirements for Presidential Citation    

1 - 11    Hold a Club Assembly to outline your Goals and Objectives and enable your committee chairs to present their plans to the membership

15    Membership Report due to District Administrator

15    Rotary Centers for Peace and International Understanding scholarship
    applications due to District Administrator

15   Ambassadorial Scholarship Applications due to District Administrator

15   Kirchner Scholarship Applications due to District Administrator

30   Club YE Committees conduct in-person interviews with host families

Hey Steve,

The Youth Exchange Rebound Orientation weekend to prepare current Inbound students for return to home countries is actually May 26 and 27, 2009 at Buffalo River Cabins, south of Yellville, Arkansas. Mandatory training is on Tuesday the 26th and canoeing and fellowship is Wednesday the 27th. Bull Shoals-Lakeview, Mid-Marion and Mountain Home clubs host this event.  thanks dave
